Nitrocellulose Group is the Data Controller and is committed to protecting the rights of individuals in line with global data protection regulations, including the Data Protection Act 1998 (DPA) and the new General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
Nitrocellulose Group may collect data during tendering and pre contract processes, from operational contracts and in instances where an individual freely and knowingly provides such information e.g. from exchanges of business cards, emails or web site links.
For processing to be lawful under the GDPR, Nitrocellulose Group must identify a lawful basis before processing personal data.
The identified lawful conditions under which Nitrocellulose Group may process personal data are fulfillment of a contract, to comply with legal obligations or on the basis of your consent.
Personal data may be transferred to Nobel NC Ltd in Thailand for the management of contracts and pre contracts. Any data so transferred will be subject to the same safeguards detailed in this privacy notice and in the Nobel NC Europe Ltd GDPR procedure.
No personal data will be transferred to any other country outside the EU unless confirmation of adequate levels of protection of the rights of the data subjects has been confirmed by Nobel NC Europe Ltd and your written permission has been obtained.
Personal data will only be retained where there is a genuine business need to do so and data will not be retained for longer than is necessary

Access to personal data will be strictly controlled. Employees with access to personal data will be briefed on their responsibilities by Management and will be required to sign a form confirming that they have read Nitrocellulose Group Data Protection Procedure and that they understand their responsibilities.
Breaches of confidentiality or security could result in disciplinary action.

If you remain dissatisfied then you have the right to apply directly to the appropriate Information Commissioner for a decision.
